Breakfast Club

Open daily from 8.00am and FREE to all pupils.

Birchfields is part of the government's free breakfast club programme providing access to a free, universal breakfast club for all primary-age pupils.

The club opens at at 8am and finishes at 8.45am as the school day begins. Your child will go straight to their classroom from breakfast club for the start of the school day.

The club is held in the school canteen.  Please use the Lytham Road gate to access the club.

There is no need to book.

Children benefit from a healthy, nutritious breakfast compliant with School Food Standards which can help to improve concentration and energy levels to support their learning.  Children can also socialise with their friends and get ready for the school day.

If your child has a dietary requirement or allergy, it is important that you inform school (including keeping school updated of any changes) so that these can be catered for in breakfast club. 

Sports Clubs

A PE Kit must be worn for all Sports Clubs.  You must book a place on clubs except where otherwise stated via school - to enquire please speak to the office.

 To 4.30pm:

Thursday: Football Club for Year 1 to Year 6 (£6 per session - Book directly with JSS here)

Friday: Archery Club for Year 3 to Year 6 (Premier Sport)

Please make sure a permission slip is filled in and returned to Mr Bradley. Some clubs have limited numbers.

Tuesday: 3.15pm - 4.30pm - UKS2 Rock Band

Thursday: 3.15pm - 4.30pm - KS2 and Parent Choir

Friday: 8.15pm - 8.45pm - KS1 and KS2 Piano Club

Friday: 1.00pm - 1.25pm - KS2 Guitar/Ukulele Club

Friday: 3.15pm - 3.45pm - UKS2 Drumming Club
