Breakfast Club

Open daily from 8.00am. Children benefit from a healthy, nutritious breakfast which can help to improve concentration and energy levels to support their learning.

To book a place, please contact the school office or emailing admin@birchfields.manchester.sch.uk.

There is a charge of £1.00 per day for breakfast club payable via ParentPay. Children eligible to Free School Meals on income grounds can attend free of charge.

Magic Breaksfast

Birchfields Primary is a Magic Breakfast school which means ALL children can access a free healthy and nutritious breakfast when they arrive at school.  This helps to ensure all children start the day in the best possible way.  Breakfast gives children the energy they need for busy school mornings enabling them to focus on their lessons.  For Years 1 to 6, breakfast is available in the safe circles.  In EYFS, children will have the opportunity to have breakfast in the classroom at the start of the day if they want it.  The breakfast will be either buttered bagels, toast or crumpets.  You can find out more about Magic Breakfast on their website - www.magicbreakfast.com.

Sports Clubs

A PE Kit must be worn for all Sports Clubs.  You must book a place on clubs except where otherwise stated via school - to enquire please speak to the office.

Before School: 8am (Meet at Canteen Entrance)

Tuesday: Multisports - Year 1 and Year 2

Thursday: Tennis - Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

After School: 3.15pm - 4.15pm

Monday: Handball - Year 3 and Year 4

Tuesday: Tag Rugby - Year 5 and Year 6

After School: 3.15pm - 4.30pm

Thursday: Football Club for Year 1 to Year 6 (£6 per session - please book at www.juniorsportsstars.co.uk) - Finishes at 4.30pm
